Ellen Witter

Wisconsin-Illinois

Hi my name is Ellen and I am so excited to serve the MTA this year as the regional leader of Wisconsin-Illinois! A little about me: I live in a suberb of Chicago and am a junior in high school. I have been in Schoenstatt for as long as I can remember! Some of my favorite things to do are: go running before or after school, sing, laugh, spend time with my sisters, hang out with my friends, go to the Shrine, lead girls groups, counsel camps, be a leader of campus ministry at my school, volunteer and play the piano. I keep you all in my prayers! Feel free to contact me with any questions! 🙂 ellenwitter13@gmail.com

Theresia Miller
Minnesota Assistant

Hello, My Name is Theresia Carmen Miller. I am named after St. Therese (Theresia being the German version) and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. I greatly enjoy reading and have often stayed up way to late flipping through the pages of one of Jane Austen’s classics! When I was nine, I went to my first Schoenstatt Girls’ Weekend. It was a May Crowning. Immediately, I fell in love with Schoenstatt. From the very first moment, I knew I had found my home. So I kept coming, year after year, to the camps, weekends, and monthly meetings. I had already loved Our Blessed Mother deeply, but Schoenstatt helped me to continue to grow in my love for her through the Covenant of Love. Gradually as I grew older, I became more and more involved, and now, six years after I first found Schoenstatt, I have the privilege of being the co-state leader of Minnesota.

Sarah Harrison

Nebraska

My name is Sarah Harrison, I am 21 years old, and I am currently studying at a community college in Lincoln, NE. Right now I am working towards a major in foreign languages, but I can easily see that changing. I have been involved in Schoenstatt my whole life, but it really became my way of life after I made my Covenant in 2010. Throughout the years, our MTA has given me so many graces and blessings that I was led to surrender my life to her through Blank Check in July 2014. The Blessed Mother blessed me with an opportunity to serve on the volunteer team for the Jubilee last year and it was a such grace-filled time for me. It renewed me and my resolve to continue to work for Schoenstatt so that many hearts may be drawn to our MTA. It is such a blessing to be on the National Leaders Committee, I ask everyone to pray for me so I can hear and listen to the Blessed Mother as she uses me as her instrument.

I have a passion for writing, reading, jam sessions with friends, chocolate, and most importantly the Blessed Mother and her Son. 🙂

Gabe Yank
Young Professionals

Hello Everyone! My name is Gabrielle Yank, and I am representing the Young Professional Women in the National Leaders’ Committee for this year. A little bit of a bio for those of you who don’t know me: I have been involved in Schoenstatt my whole life, first of all through my family, and when I got old enough also through my participation in Little Crowns, then Marian Apostles and finally the Girls’ Youth. I entered the Leaders’ Circle in Fall of 2005 after having sealed my Covenant of Love the previous August and I have been involved since then in various ways, serving as the Diocesan Leader for a few years, during which I sealed my Blank Check in 2009. I served as a member of the University Young Women’s Branch until I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in December of 2014. I went on Extended Stay in the Dominican Republic from January 2015 until August 2015 where I worked at the Nutrition Center for Children and now here I am again in Wisconsin. At your service! I am currently working and just living daily life for our Lovely Mother and her little Boy. I keep you all in my prayers in my home, room, and heart Shrines and I hope you will do the same for me as we strive together this year to fulfill our mission to Be Love, Live Truth, and Reveal Mercy.
